Merrell Urban Hike
Cape Town City Centre & Bo Kaap
A Story Told on Foot
We begin at the distinctive Truth Coffee and step into Cape Town’s city pulse, streets with old bones and new energy. From there, the walk eases toward the Company’s Garden, where the pace softens under trees, and Table Mountain sits quietly in the background like a compass.
As we leave the gardens, we drift past Orange Street and the elegant entrance of the Mount Nelson, then climb gently toward Signal Hill before folding back down into the city. The route carries us through the top of Long Street, where Cape Town’s night stories linger even in daylight, and across to Wale Street, a lively seam of the city.
Then the colour arrives. We enter Bo Kaap, where history lives on the walls, the air holds spice, and the call to prayer can catch you mid sentence. From there, we move back into the city’s market heart, down Longmarket Street to Greenmarket Square, before finishing through St George’s Mall, returning to where we started.
Not a race. Not a lecture. A guided urban hike that invites you to slow down, listen, and see Cape Town with fresh eyes.
